Immigrants Parade
Immigrants Parade

The International Cultures Parade, also known as Immigrants Parade, is the cultural expression of the People, for the People, and by the People as represented in the multicultural nation of Immigrants, United States of America.
The Parade encourages positive intercultural relations by sensitizing multicultural leadership, their communities, and the public in general about the diverse cultures that form a vital part of our society. This endeavor aims to eliminate negative perceptions that fuel racism, discrimination, and anti-immigrant sentiment.
Proud international folk troupes and groups captivate viewers with authentic folk dances, transforming each parade block into a gigantic stage adorned with their vibrant native costumes, unique musical instruments, original sounds of music, floats, and bands. The Parade features the Official Presentation of Nations Flags Ceremony, hosted by the NYC Mayor and with the participation of several elected officials, the Diplomatic Corp, media representatives and the leadership of many grassroot umbrella organizations. The Parade will culminate with a tournament awarding prizes to the top contingents who showcase their community as a pageantry representing our nation's culturally rich heritage.
